Gỏi cuốn, phở and other delicacies

The Vietnamese cuisine is exquisite for the tongue and at the same time a flower for the eye. It is very divers and uses many different herbs and vegetables. The usage of fish, seafood and meat in the same dish is not uncommon. The most important ingredient is fish sauce, nước mắm. Without it, a dish is incomplete.
Phở bo, a simple beef bouillon is the nation-wide favorite dish.

Salad rolls (Gỏi cuốn) also known as Vietnamese fresh rolls, or summer rolls. They are rice paper rolls filled with shrimp, herbs, marinated pork and rice vermicelli. They are wrapped up exquisitely and dipped in nước chấm or bean-liver sauce.

Chạo tôm is a traditional Vietnamese dish from central Vietnam. A mousse of ham and shrimps is fitted around a lemon grass stick and fried.
